From my home in rural Rotorua, I work across oils, watercolour, charcoal, and digital illustration. My practice centres on portraiture and native species, with a focus on capturing memory and the feelings left by faces, places, and time spent in the natural world. This space brings together finished works, studies, and ongoing bodies of work, gathered much like memories themselves. Whether working from direct reference or personal observation, I’m interested in what lingers: the quiet emotional weight carried by a face, a place, or a moment, and then shared with the observer.
